Stephanie Larkin

Position: 

Veterinary Surgeon

Bio: 

Stephanie has been with us since 2008, after qualifying from UCD in 2006. Before coming to us, she spent 2 years working in a very busy small animal practice in Cork before heading back to the big smoke! She enjoys all aspects of general practice, but has a particular interest in medical cases. She rescued a super cute shih tzu cross called Sonic, who is her trusted side kick! Stephanie is well known with our regular clients and loves to take care of their fur babies!

Mark Coulter

Position: 

Veterinary Surgeon

Bio: 

Mark has been with Hillcrest since 2011. After qualifying from UCD in 2005, Mark went on to work in a mixed practice in the midlands before heading off to further his experience in a busy small animal hospital in the UK. The call of home was too strong and he joined the Hillcrest team where he has a keen interest in ultrasonography

 

Ciara Duffy

Position: 

Head Veterinary Nurse

Bio: 

Ciara is our longest standing member of staff in Hillcrest, and is well known by our regular clients! She carried out her training here while studying in UCD, and qualified as a veterinary nurse in 2008. Ciara takes great pride in her work, and has a keen interest in surgery. She hopes to undertake a course in surgery and anaesthetic to further her education. She is an animal lover, and has one dog called Stella who doesn't leave her side!

Katy Fortune

Position: 

Veterinary Nurse

Bio: 

Katy has been with us since 2008. She is one of our long term members of staff, and is a great asset to the practice with her many skills and talents.

She carried out her training in Hillcrest while studying in UCD. Katy qualified as a veterinary nurse in 2011. She is currently undergoing a course in canine behaviour and training, and hopes to begin classes with us next year. She rescued two dogs, Annie and Harvey who are the best of friends!

 

Margaret Reilly

Position: 

Veterinary Nurse

Bio: 

Margaret is our newest edition to Hillcrest, starting with us earlier this year. Margaret carried out her nursing work experience with us in 2009. She studied in UCD, qualifying with her degree in 2013. Upon qualifying, she worked in UCD Veterinary Hospital gaining experience with animals big and small! She shows great interest in her work, and is a very caring, gentle person! She has settled in well to the team and is part of the Hillcrest family! She rescued her dog Poppy from the DSPCA in 2006.
