'Restricted Breeds' debate over the last week.

Over the last few days we have seen a passionate debate over national and international airwaves and social media forums regarding the law governing ‘restricted breeds’ of dogs. This all came from our wonderful town and community here in Ashbourne. It is very difficult to stimulate such an important debate in the national media without an accompanying tragedy. Thankfully this wasn't the case.

A very bad pain in the bum!

Here is an X Ray of a dog, Pete, with two dislocated hips. This is a very pain full condition that made walking for Pete very difficult. This has resulted from having hip dysplasia (HD) in both hip joints. HD is where the socket of the hip joint develops abnormally and is not deep enough for the ball of the hip joint.
